Beverly Hills Cop 4 Gets a Title and Release Date
Eddie Murphy and the gang are back in action in 2024
The long-awaited sequel to the classic Beverly Hills Cop franchise is finally coming to the big screen in 2024. The film, titled Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, will see Eddie Murphy reprise his iconic role as Axel Foley. Joining Murphy in the cast are Taylour Paige, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon, Judge Reinhold, and Paul Reiser.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is directed by Mark Molloy and written by Will Beall, Tom Gormican, and Kevin Etten. The film is a sequel to the 1984 original, which followed Foley, a Detroit cop who travels to Beverly Hills to investigate the murder of his best friend. The film was a huge success, grossing over $300 million worldwide. Two sequels followed, in 1987 and 1994. It has been over 30 years since the last Beverly Hills Cop movie was released, so fans are eagerly awaiting the new film.
